Themes
How important is a theme in a wedding? A wedding does not have to have a particular theme. You may just start with a particular set of colors you like and build your decorative ideas from them. However, a theme does help for the purpose of decoration and the setting of your atmosphere. It could simply be a season of the year such as Spring, or Winter, or a place such as a Beach, Forest, or Garden, or maybe the bride or groom's favorite pastime, such as football, love of candy, or a particular kind of music or era. Whatever your theme is for your wedding, it will definitely make your wedding decor and decorations, a great deal of fun, and we believe a little easier! Wedding Tip: Guest List
While there is a suggested percentage of your budget for various wedding expenses, you may make one expense a priority over another. A menu is usually of high priority, and this can be the most expensive item in your wedding. Food is tabulated per person plus taxes, gratuity. Discuss with your parents and close family or friends and develop a list of people to invite to your wedding. This should be based on who you would love to be there to celebrate your big day, and what your budget allows.
If you do decide the venue of your dreams is more important than the number of guests you invite, then you may make your number of guests a number that is sufficent for all of your other budget needs. You may develop a list A and a list B for your guests. The rule is also to consider not inviting people you have not spoken to in 2-3 or more years.
